Marie-Claire Hoare

Marie-Claire Clinton (nee Hoare) is principal solicitor at JH Law and specialises in Litigation.

A Solicitor since 2000, Marie trained with Northern and Lindsey (now incorporated by Rich and Carr) in
Leicester and remained with them post admittance to take over a retiring partner’s civil case load.

In 2002 she moved to Si-Jaffar & Co to head up a growing civil department and then in 2004 set up JH Law.

Marie has experience in most types of civil cases from small claim debt recovery to multi million pound international contract arbitration. She has taken two cases to the Court of Appeal, one of which was 4 amalgamated appeals; has a high level of High Court experience; has experience in VAT and Tax Tribunals; and a very strong working relationship with 4KBW Chambers in London. Marie especially enjoys debt recovery work.
